Anniversary Gospel Songfest

On Sunday, September 11, 2016, St. Matthew's Episcopal Church hosted an ecumenical worship service that was titled "Gospel Songfest." For about an hour we sang hymns with a choir composed of members of St. Matthew's, Butler Memorial Presbyterian Church, and the Savannah State University Alumni Men's Glee Club Choir. Special guest musicians Mr. Timothy Hall of Christ Church Episcopal (organ) and Ms. Rose Smith of Butler Memorial Presbyterian (piano) directed the choir. Our Mistress of Ceremonies was Ms. Juanita Adams. The Reverend Father Guillermo Arboleda, Priest in Charge of St. Matthew's, hosted and preached for the occasion. The theme was "Winning Souls for Christ through Music." Below are some photos and videos from the evening.
